Now being able to speak the same language, Fay and Gwynn slowly get to know each other. At first it was hard to talk to Gwynn, as she had her guard up and was quite distant, but she slowly opened up to the Kitsune over time. Bit by bit she shared pieces of her tragic past with Fayanna. Feeling pity and empathy, she offers her to stay in her home, since she has nowhere else to go. In return Gwynn helps her with chores and assisting with keeping the forest safe.
Still, the shadows of Gwynn’s past linger. Night after night, she wakes up in tears, haunted by memories of pain and loss.

Determined to help Gwynn, Fay uses her magic to heal Gwynn’s mental wounds. The fox woman clenches her fists together as she relives every joyful and agonising moment of her past, making her wince in pain and sorrow.

“Almost done for today” Fay says softly after seeing that Gwynn cannot hold out any longer.

As the session ends, Gwynn collapses onto the ground, completely exhausted from the whole ordeal. Fay sits down next to her, gently placing her hand on Gwynn’s shoulder.

“You are getting there, Gwynn” she whispers. “One scar at a time.”
