As it turns out, normal "snake hypnosis" doesnt work on Zal... There's an airgap between his eyes and the single brain cell that ping-pongs around his skull like a DVD screensaver.

Lucky, Bella was passing by and shows poor Opal how to hypnotize him. A more... direct.. approach.
