Despite their looks, outrunning a yokai is a fool's errand. The great, hulking beasts of Hythe can move like an ethereal ghost when needed - slowly, methodically hunting their prey in until they're hopelessly lost in their embrace. Really, it's best to listen to their orders, follow their directions, and when asked, reach in.

At least, it'll be gentler that way.
